Assign manufacturing features to operations in Easy Plan

You can assign different types of weld features to operations in Easy Plan.

Procedure

1. If you have not done so already, search for and open a work package and then navigate to the Process Planning page.

2. Click Show Comparison to easily identify assigned and unassigned welds.

3. Perform one of the following actions to assign a weld to a weld operation.
   Note If you try to drag or paste a weld onto an operation where it does not fit, Easy Plan will display an error message and will not attach the weld to the weld operation. For example, if you try to drag a laser (arc) weld to a discrete operation, Easy Plan displays an error message and does not assign the weld.
   
   
   
   Drag the weld onto the Features tab for the weld operation. Cut the weld and paste it into the Features tab for the weld operation. Drag the weld onto the weld operation in the Process panel.

4. (Optional) To correct the weld sequence, in the Features tab adjust the Find No. property for the welds until they are in the correct order.

5. (Optional) To unassign a weld, in the Process panel select the weld operation, and then in the Features tab select the weld, select More , and click Unassign.
