Use the CBA 2.0 to CBA 3.0 me_migrate_design_ebom migration utility

In Teamcenter 13.2 and above, you can use the CAD-BOM Alignment (CBA) utility to migrate CBA 2.0 design or CAD bill of material (BOM) and part BOM alignment to the new CBA 3.0 CAD part alignment model, which is publish-linked based. After you migrate from CBA 2.0 to 3.0, you can view the CAD BOM and part BOM side by side in Active Workspace to review the alignment of parts and visualize the structures.

The following migration cases are supported:

• Heavy alignment

• Light alignment

• Multiple design (CAD) to one-part alignment (ND1P)

• Deformed parts (override jts and override transforms)

CAD BOM←CBA 2.0→EBOM→MBOM

CAD BOM←CBA 3.0→EBOM→MBOM

The following preference values must be set before running the me_migrate_design_ebom utility:

• MEDesignToBom_Enabled=false

• FND0_ENABLE_DESIGN_BOM_ENGINEERING_BOM_ALIGNMENT=true
