Use Find commands to locate assigned product BOP authoring
elements
Use the Find in command to sync parts, resources, and features assigned to an operation in the Product BOP Authoring task page, and to locate their occurrences in the BOM or BOE trees.
Procedure
Navigate to the Product BOP Authoring task page.
To search for an operation to which a specific object, such as a part, resource, or feature, is assigned, in the Product BOP panel, select the BOP root object and click Find → Find Assigned .
In the Find Assigned panel, from the Object Type list, select the type of object you want to locate, and in the ID or Name text box, type the ID or name of the object.
Click Search, and in the Results list, select an operation that is assigned to the BOP root object. The operation selection syncs with the Product BOP panel, and the part to which the operation is assigned is displayed in the Parts tab of the Information panel.
(Optional) To further narrow the search, in the Find Assigned panel, from the Occurrence Type list, select occurrence types to include in the search, click Search again, and select a search result.
To find objects assigned to the selected operation, in the Information panel, do the following.
Select the Parts, Features, or Resources tab.
Select an object and click Find in Assembly or Find in Resources .
The relevant object is synced with the object in the MBOM panel.
