Create plant BOP from BOE
You can create the plant BOP from the top node of the BOE as the Create Process option is only available for the root plant BOE line.
During BOP creation, a copy of the hierarchical structure of the BOE will be created to serve as the BOP, which will results in the following:
Creation of a link between the BOE root and the plant BOP root.
Creation of a link between the elements of the BOE and the plant BOP.
Copying of the attributes from the BOE elements to the plant BOP.
Item: Name, Description
Item Revision: Name, Description
Occurrence: Name, Alias, Variant Condition, Find No The attributes for Item, Item Revision and Occurrence are configurable through a preference. The new objects in plant BOP or BOE will have same name as the name of their respective mapped objects in plant BOP or BOE. Note You can only use BOM line attributes.
- Consuming stations created in the BOE to the plant BOP’s station process.
To create a plant BOP from the BOE, do the following:
Procedure
Load and select the BOE root node.
Right-click the BOE root node and choose Synchronize Process and Plant→Create Plant
The Create Process command is launched.
