Add product variants and set their production rates

For each product variant that you add to a production program, you must set a production rate that allows Teamcenter to calculate the probability of each variant’s production within the production program definition.

Procedure

  1. Right-click the production program definition and choose Edit Production Program Definition.

Teamcenter displays the Production Program Definition dialog box with the name and production program listed. In addition, each of the variants contained in the production program is listed.

  1. (Optional) Enter a target cycle time.

The value of the target cycle time is specified in the current time units set in the Manufacturing options. This value is optional. If it is not 0, this entry has higher priority than the cycle time defined in the plant BOP. If it is 0, Teamcenter uses the cycle time defined in the plant BOP.

  1. Add or remove variants from the product program definition using the plus and minus buttons.

You can only add existing product variants.

  1. For each variant, type a production rate in Production Rate box.

Teamcenter calculates the overall probability of production for each of the variants.
