Using the line balancing check result views

There are two line balancing check result views:

• Constraints Consistency view This view opens automatically from the Line Balancing Constraints view after you perform a Constraints Consistency check. This view displays any circular pattern of constraints that may exist.

• Constraints Violation view This view opens automatically from the Line Balancing Chart view after you perform a Constraints Violation check. This view displays any violation of the constraints caused by the allocation of operations to process stations in an order that is precluded by the station flow you set in the PERT chart.

In each of these views, the check displays a list of violations. By clicking each violation, you can see the operations participating in the violation in the bottom section of the view. These views support selection synchronization, meaning that you can select an operation in the plant BOP or product BOP structure and it is automatically highlighted in the check result view and vice versa.

If the PSM_Enable_Product_Configurator preference is set to true OR the configurator context is attached to the ProductBOP structure, the ProductBOP→Open With→Line Balancing Constraints option is not available in the rich client.
