Options for authoring solution variants in an MBOM

You can author solution variants in a manufacturing bill of materials (MBOM).

The table below shows cases in which you can create these solution variants.

• The preference MBMSVSourceFromEBOM must be set to true to create solution variants in an MBOM.

• The preference MBM_SVPullFromEBOMExcludeTypes must be set to Mfg0CollabMfgPrdRevision (collaborative product MBOM).
