View an associated image

The Process Short Description section displays an image of the TC_PADImage type that is associated to the MEPSD item with a TC_PADPreferredImage relation.

Do one of the following:

• To enlarge the image, click it.Note You must have Lifecycle Viewer installed to use this feature.

• To close the image viewer, click the image in the PSD view or close the window.

• To add a new image, click beside the Illustration box and select a new image.Teamcenter adds an image or replaces the current image with the newly selected one.

If the image is larger than the recommended size (14.4 x 14.9 cm; approximately 544 x 563 pixels), Teamcenter shrinks the image to fit the viewing area. If it is smaller, the image is displayed in the actual size; Teamcenter does not stretch it.

The image preview is not available for TIF/TIFF image formats. You must enlarge the image to see it.

If there are multiple PAD image datasets associated with an MEPSD item, Teamcenter displays the first available one.
