Your Home page

Your Home page provides a personal dashboard where you have quick access to your tasks, changes, and recent activity. It also provides common actions and relevant reports for your working context.

The sections that are displayed and their layout differ are determined by your current group, role, and workspace, and any customization and configuration done by your administrator.

Your home page may look different than the example above.

(1) On the Home page, the header includes the Teamcenter location, global search (2), and session controls and user profile (3).
(2) Global search, including access to prefilters and Advanced Search. In this section, the revision status of the current view.
(3) Session controls include: Change notifications—If there are any active changes, you can view, search, and set the active change context. Teamcenter Copilot —Intelligent AI powered tool enables you to ask questions and get summarized answers with source materials from indexed and embedded file contents to which you have access. Appears only if configured by an administrator. Alerts —Notifications of specific items that have changed. Also notifies you when a background process completes. If there are many alerts you can search the list. Settings Choose appearance options including display of command labels, display format, and alignment of property labels in object views. Show or hide text labels for commands in the navigation bar. Access logging options and record a log file to share with an administrator. Toggle automatic saving of table edits. View keyboard shortcuts reference. View data privacy information Assess system performance with Monitoring. View online help. User profile graphic—Open your user profile page, view and change your session settings, toggle display of session settings at the bottom of the page, and sign out of Teamcenter. Tip If you have uploaded a profile picture to your user profile, a thumbnail of it displays in the global header. Otherwise a default graphic is displayed.
(4) The navigation bar offer an entry point for some tools and data. These commands are always available. Tooltips provide a short description of each command. The set of command icons you see may vary from those shown in the figure, depending on your working context and any personalization you have done. If there is insufficient space to show all available commands due to your screen resolution or the vertical size of the client window, the More Commands icon appears. Click it to reveal the hidden commands in a pop-up menu. You can personalize the navigation bar by pinning frequently needed tools and data objects to it. Takes you back to the previous screen. Takes you to the Home page. Takes you to Explorer view. Displays new tasks assigned to you. Contains a list of available change objects. Displays reports applicable to you.
(5) Dashboard section options. Hover over the icons to see explanatory tooltips.
(6) Dashboard sections. The sections you see and their arrangement on the page may vary according to your work context.
(7) Launcher —Opens a pop-up panel that provides access to all the Tools available to you in your working context. You can personalize the Launcher by pinning frequently needed tools and data objects to it.
