Create a new product BOP

You can add an existing product bill of process (BOP) to your work package, or create one.

If you want to create a product BOP, create a work package that only contains this structure. Later, you can fine tune a product BOP when it is in a work package with a plant BOP.

Procedure

1. If you have not already done so, search for and open a work package search for and open a work package, and then navigate to the Manage Work Package page.

2. In the Product BOP section, click Add > Create Product BOP.

3. In the Create Product BOP dialog box, do the following.

Type a Name.

(Optional). Type a Description.

Type an ID or accept the one Easy Plan automatically generates.

Type a Revision rule.

Click Add Project, then search for and assign the product BOP with a project.

Click Create. A new product BOP is created and assigned to the work package. Tip Click Submit to Workflow

to send the product BOP directly to a workflow from this page.

4. (Optional) Hover over the product BOP tile and click Remove , then click Remove again to verify that you want to remove the product BOP from the work package.
