Create or edit the configuration context

Procedure

1. Choose File→New→Configuration Context.Teamcenter displays the New Configuration Context dialog box.

2. Enter the following information:

Description

Name

Specify the name of the configuration context.

Type

Choose the appropriate configuration context type from the list. By default, only the ConfigurationContext type is available; your administrator may create additional types as necessary with the Business Modeler IDE administration application.

Revision rule

Choose a revision rule from the list.

Variant rule

(Optional) Choose a variant rule to apply to the structure context.

3. Attach the configuration context to one or more structure contexts as required.
