Performing virtual analyses

In manufacturing, it is cost-effective to reduce the number of physical prototypes required to begin manufacturing or after a change is introduced to the design or manufacturing process. Some iterations of prototyping can be replaced by a variety of virtual assessments that analyze the design and process plan in Process Simulate. You can manage these virtual assessments in Teamcenter by creating a library of available tests representing the analyses and then associating the tests with process data using the Test Manager view.

With the Test Manager view you can:

• Manage a master list of test cases in a library.

• Associate test cases with process data.

• Integrate with Process Simulate by performing the tests in Process Simulate and recording the results back to Teamcenter.

• Capture test result with comments and an image.

• View a dashboard of test results.

• Filter test searches by various criteria such as date, test type, name, or referenced part.

• View and update the history of a test.
