Example of synchronizing studies

The following example shows an isolated study created from the subprocess of a process structure.

Procedure

  1. Create a new operation in the study and in the original structure.

  2. Set up the synchronization settings to publish from the study to the source process structure.

  3. Publish from the study to the source process structure by clicking in the study and selecting Time-Based in the Publish From Study dialog box.Teamcenter synchronizes both structures so that source and target are the same.
The children of Subprocess 1 are published from the study to the original Subprocess 1 line in the source process structure. The study and source contain the same substructure.
