Modify a released operation without creating a new revision

You can quickly revise the properties for a released operation or process without being prompted to create a new revision.

This feature is only available in the bill of process (BOP) tree area on the High Level Planning, Line Balancing, Process Planning, and Work Instructions Authoring pages.

Prerequisites

You must set the EP_SkipReviseConfirmation value to true. In addition, you must add EP_SkipReviseConfirmation to the AWC_StartupPreferences in the Teamcenter rich client.

Procedure

1. If you have not done so already, search for and open a work package, and then navigate to the High Level Planning, Line Balancing, Process Planning, or Work Instructions Authoring pages.

2. In the Process panel or tab, select a released operation to modify.

3. In the Process table, double-click a property field for the operation and change it, then press Enter. For example, double-click the Rev Name field and change the operation name.
   Note You must use the Process table to update operation properties. If you select an operation and then update its properties with one of the details tabs below the Process table, Easy Plan prompts you to create a new revision.
   
   Easy Plan updates the property, increases the revision count, and removes the release flag from the operation.
