Group and role preferences

Preferences are defined by groups and roles, and there is a different configuration for each preference. When an end user logs in with the correct preference, they get the solution or pages they need.

EP_WorkPackageContentType	Defines the list of structures that are allowed in the Manage Work Package page.	To apply a uniform configurator context across all structures in a work package, add the value config1 to all existing values in the preference settings. This ensures that every structure shares the same configurator context. EP_WorkPackageContentType_XXXX	Defines the list of structures that are displayed on the Manage Work Package page. The syntax is StructureType1:ContentType1, StructureType2:ContentType2; XXXX represents the custom subtypes of MECollaborationContext. Example If CustomBO_CC is the custom BO subtype of MECollaborationContext, the preference is EP_WorkPackageContentType_CustomBO_CC .	Valid values for StructureType are EBOM, MBOM. Valid values for ContentType are Item, ItemRevision, PSBOMView and PSBOMViewRevision. The default content type is PSBOMViewRevision.
EP_hasMixedProductionWPAuthoringPermissions	Which users, roles, or groups have authoring permissions to create product groups in work packages for mix production. Note Any user can perform process planning in the work package, but users need specific permissions to author product groups. Set this preference to true to enable mixed production work package authoring for users.	truefalse
