Remove objects and attachments

As you design and create revisions of your product, process, and work area structures, you may need to remove objects and object attachments from the structure tree.

When you remove an object or attachment, it is removed from the current structure but not deleted from the database.

To remove an object from the structure view:

Procedure

1. Select the object in the structure view.

2. Click the Remove a Line button on the toolbar.Teamcenter removes the line from the structure.

To remove an attachment:

Procedure

1. Right-click the object containing the attachment in the structure view and choose Open with→Attachments.

2. In the Attachments view, select one of the attachments.

3. Choose Edit→Cut or click the Cut button on the toolbar.
