Managing the enterprise BOP

Performing accountability checks

Accountability checks allow you to compare process structures to ensure completeness and integrity of data. You can identify if lines in one structure are represented in another structure, or you can compare properties of equivalent lines in the two structures to identify differences.

You can use this mechanism to compare the following enterprise BOP objects:

  • Generic BOP with generic BOP, including two configurations of the same structure

  • Product BOP with product BOP, including two configurations of the same structure

  • Generic BOP with product BOP

  • Product BOP with plant BOP

  • Plant BOP with plant BOP

You can also perform accountability checks between the following objects to ensure all lines in the source structure are consumed in the target structure:

  • Generic BOP and product structure (BOM)

  • Product BOP and product structure (BOM)

  • Plant BOP and product structure (BOM)
