Compare revisions in process structures
On the process History tab, you can see a detailed view of the revision history for Product Bill of Process (BOP) and Plant BOP structures. You can view release dates and properties, so you can track changes over time.
This tab also supports effective change management by offering a detailed summary of modifications, which helps you make informed decisions.
Prerequisites
You must enable the preference EP_ShowProcessHistory.

In addition, you must add these preferences to the AWC_StartupPreferences in the Teamcenter rich client.
See the Preferences section in the Active Workspace Administration documentation for a description of preferences and how to set them.
Procedure
If you have not already done so, Search for and open a work package, and then navigate to the Product BOP Authoring page or Plant BOP Authoring page.
Select an object, then select the History tab.
Select the two revisions that you want to compare.
Click the ellipsis ..., then click Compare Revisions.
Tip For quick access to these commands, click Pin menu as Toolbar.
You can see the revisions as top panes, with the reference windows open in the background.Examine changes in operations and parts, from one revision to the next.
To view the comparison in the summary panel, select the top line of the resource, then turn on Compare & Show Differences. You see the list of changes in the Change Summary panel.
Select a part in the Change Summary panel to navigate directly to the part in comparison window.
To visualize the changes in 3D, select the ellipsis ..., then click Open in Teamcenter Visualization. A VVI file is downloaded to your system. Open the file in visualization to see the functional group and parts with their respective revisions.
To delete a revision, select a single revision and click Delete.
Note You can delete only the latest revision. Attempting to delete a released revision results in a user error. Upon deletion, the page refreshes to display the previous revision.
