Create a synchronization request

Procedure

1. To create a new synchronization request, click the Add Sync button.The system displays the Request Creation dialog box.

2. Define the following:

Request Name Type a unique name for the synchronization request.

Request Description Type a unique description for the synchronization request.

Full Update or Partial Update Choose Full Update to update all the data you specified when you created the application interface. Choose Partial Update to update only preselected structures.

Complete or Delta By default, only changed data is exported, depending on how your preferences are set. Select this check box to export all data. Note If you create a new application object, only complete data may be exported.

Check Out Objects? Check this check box to check out affected objects when data export commences. By default, the objects are not checked out.

3. Click OK or Apply to create a new synchronization request.
