Remove objects from a change notice

You can remove objects from a manufacturing change notice (MCN) or an engineering change notice (ECN) on a BOP or MBOM structure.

Procedure

  1. In Manufacturing Process Planner, load the BOP or MBOM and locate the structure to which the change notice is set.

  2. Select the object structures associated to the change notice that you want to remove.

Tip In the BOP or MBOM header, you can verify that a change notice is associated to at least some objects in the selected structure.

  1. Choose Tools→Change Management→Remove from Change Notice.

  2. To add or remove children of the line from the change notice, in the Remove from Change Notice dialog box, select the Include subhierarchies check box.

If you do not select Include subhierarchies, only the selected line will be removed from the change notice.

  1. Click OK.

Results

The objects are removed from the change notice.
