Resequence functional groups
You can resequence functional groups within a hierarchy, which allows you to maintain existing operations.
The Copy and Paste commands are available, respectively, from the BOM and BOP toolbars. In Easy Plan, the ability to drag files or objects to other objects works the same way as it does in other applications. For more details on resequencing and moving elements, see Rules for cloning, moving, and resequencing objects in the BOM or the BOP.
Note
If an object within the structure is Released, you must revise the object before you can move the functional group. Process Planning for BTO/BTS/CTO displays a dialog box that prompts you to revise the object. Click Yes, Revise to revise the object and move the functional group, or click Cancel.
Procedure
Search and open or navigate to a product bill of process (BOP).
Select a functional group and click Cut .
The functional group dims, and a dashed border displays around it.
Perform one of the following actions.
To paste the functional group at the root level, click a blank area below the product hierarchy, and then click Paste . When you do not select an object in the hierarchy, the functional group is pasted at the root level of the structure.
To paste the functional group anywhere else in the hierarchy, select the functional group where you want to move the object, click Paste, and select an option:
Paste before—Pastes the object before the selected item in the structure, as a sibling object. Paste after—Pastes the object after the selected item in the structure, as a sibling object. Paste into—Pastes the object into the selected functional group, as a child object of the selected functional group.
