Drag or copy resources to assign them to process stations

You can assign one or more resources to process stations, either by dragging or copying from available work package resources, or by copying from a manufacturing resource library (MRL) .

Prerequisites

To be able to assign resources to process stations, you must add the value Mfg0BvrProcessStation to the preference EP_AllowCopyPasteResourceOnTarget.

Procedure

1. If you have not already done so, navigate to the Process Planning task page.

2. From the Resources tab, select one or more resources from a station.

3. Do any of the following to assign resources.

                Drag the selected resources to one or more process
                    stations in the Process
                    panel.
                Click  → Copy
                    , and in the Process panel, select a station and click Paste
                    .  
                Copy
                    assigned resources from one process station to another process station.
                        In the Process panel, select the
                                station from which you want to copy resources.
                        In the Information panel, on
                                the Resources tab,
                                select the resources that you want to copy and click  → Copy
                                .
                        In the Process panel, select the
                                station to which you want to paste the resources and click
                                    Paste
                                .
                    
                Copy resources from a manufacturing resource library
                        (MRL).
                        In the Information panel, in
                                the Resources tab,
                                right-click a resource and choose Classification Search.The Teamcenter Classification page is displayed in a new
                                browser window.
                        Using the classification
                                    Class Navigator,
                                locate, select, and copy the preferred MRL resources.Note 
                                For more information, see the *Basic and Advanced Classification on
                                        Active Workspace - Usage* online help.
                            
                        Close the Classification page and in the
                                    Process panel of
                                    Process Planning
                                task page, select a process station and paste the MRL resources
                                assign them to that station.
                    
            
            In the Information panel, in the Resources tab, the
                dragged or copied resources are displayed for the station selected in the
                    Process panel.
