Time analysis

Use time analysis to assign approximate time values to operational activities that workers must perform to manufacture products on a line. Time analysis uses standard time elements from a time system. A standard time element is the historical, measured time used as a baseline that is required by an average skilled operator, working at a normal pace, to perform a specified task using a prescribed method.
