Manufacturing representation functionality

You can assign engineering bills of material (EBOM) or manufacturing representation assemblies, or "mini manufacturing BOMs" (MBOMs), to create manufacturing representation lines in an MBOM. Use the following preferences to configure manufacturing representation in Easy Plan.

• MBMEnableModularMBOM—Enables the manufacturing representation functionality in Easy Plan. This preference allows end users to search for and add manufacturing representations within a higher level product context. Set the MBMEnableModularMBOM preference value to true to enable manufacturing representation functionality in Easy Plan.

• MbmReleaseStatusForModularBom—Determines whether the Has Manufacturing Representation icon displays on engineering bill of material (EBOM) nodes based on the release status of the BOM view revision associated with the manufacturing representation node. The value for the MbmReleaseStatusForModularBom preference is TCM Released. If the preference value is empty, then Easy Plan will display non-released BOM view revisions.

• MBMUseEBOMAsIs—Allows end users to assign the EBOM assembly as-is. Set the MBMUseEBOMAsIs preference value to true.
