The BIW – BOM Planner perspective is for the body in white (BIW) planners who create structures, assign product and manufacturing features, select resources, evaluate time, and create, release, and revise documentation. When you open this perspective, it opens in Manufacturing Process Planner with the preloaded views shown below. The menu options for the perspective and views are also predefined for this particular business use case.
