Hide or show PMI assembly parts and objects using occurrence effectivity

In Teamcenter Visualization, you can use All Associated Parts are Configured date-based or unit-based effectivity settings to hide or show assembly parts and PMI data. When you define this global setting in Teamcenter and apply occurrence effectivity, parts can be configured out and all assembly-level PMI associated to those parts are no longer displayed in the Graphics view. Additionally, if the assembly PMI is consumed in an operation, it is configured out as well.

In this example, some PMI objects are associated with multiple parts in an assembly, some are associated with a single part, and some are associated with no parts. Associations are reflected in the Connected To column in the assembly EBOM.

When you define occurrence effectivity settings for the part or parts you want to hide or show, those parts are hidden as well as any PMI specific only to those parts. In this example, part 000082/A-P1 is configured to be excluded from viewing on the current date. The PMI objects specific to this part are also excluded. Any PMI objects not connected to a specific part remain displayed. If a dimension is also connected to another part, it remains in the Graphics view.
