Author work instructions in product BOP structures

You can author work instructions directly within Product BOP structures. This allows for a common set of instructions to be shared across different plants, enhancing communication and collaboration.

Procedure

1. Navigate to the Product BOP Authoring page.

2. Select the functional group you want to work with, click ..., and then select Work Instructions Authoring. The Work Instructions Authoring page opens.

3. Use the editor to create work instructions for the selected operations. To enhance clarity and detail, you can apply various formatting options, such as textual instructions, bullet points, and images.

4. Save the authored work instructions within the Product BOP structure. You can then navigate to the Process Planning page and select the process station where you want to use the operations and consume the operations from the Product BOP structure within the process station.

Results

The system propagates the work instructions to the process station, preserving the format and content originally created in the Product BOP.
