Feature basics

You can manage and distribute features with the Manufacturing Features view. The key to body in white manufacturing rough planning workflows is the distribution of manufacturing features to work stations. With Multi-BOM Management, you can:

• Create features and edit feature attributes.

• Automatically assign manufacturing features to plant BOP areas, stations, lines, and other structures simultaneously, as well as to features via processes and operations.

• Connect features to parts manually.

• Automatically connect features to parts using the Auto Feature Part Connector dialog box.

• Search for assigned, broken, and unassigned features.

• Reset the scope of the Manufacturing Features view, filter the view data, and modify the view column display.
