Work instructions collector configuration

You can use these preferences and configuration settings to manage work instructions collector settings in your environment.

You can set the following preferences to configure the work instructions collector in Easy Plan.

• EP_UseWICollector—Enables the work instructions collector (WIC) solution for the Plant BOP and Time Study. Set this preference value to true.

• EP_CreateSubtypesForType_WICollector—List of types of processes to be used as a work instructions collector. Depending on the value of type constant Mbc0BOPQualifier, a work instructions collector icon is displayed for the created process. Set the value of type constant Mbc0BOPQualifier as WICollector for the revision object of processes listed here. Please see the documentation of type constant Mbc0BOPQualifier.

• EP_PlantBopTimeStudyACDataset—Defines the dataset name that is used for an accountability check between the Plant bill of process (BOP) and the time study in the time study planning task in Easy Plan. The default value for this preference is false. Set this preference value to true.

Closure rules

This feature uses two new closure rules:

• AccountabilityPRAllocations—Returns all the processes and operations allocated to a process resource.

• AccountabilityTimeStudy—Returns all the process resources, operations, and processes under a time study, without the work instructions collector.

Datasets

The work instructions collector uses one new dataset.

The EPPlantBOPTimeStudyACFavoriteDataset uses the AccountabilityPRAllocations closure rule for the source and AccountabilityTimeStudy closure rule for the target.
