Add variants

Variant options must exist in the database prior to creating variant conditions.

Procedure

1. With the MEPSD object selected and the PSD view open, click in the Process Short Description section.Teamcenter opens the Variant Condition dialog box.

2. Create variant conditions.

3. Click OK.Teamcenter adds the variant and displays it in the Variant box in the Process Short Description section of the PSD view. It also displays the variant symbol on the MEPSD item in the process structure.
