Author a study on the Study Planning page

You can modify the contents of an existing study directly within the Study Planning page in Easy Plan.

Procedure

1. Navigate a bill of process (BOP) to the High Level Planning page, and then navigate to the Process Planning page.

2. In the Process panel, select a station process, or any BOP object type that is assigned to a study. Easy Plan refreshes the Study Manager panel and displays all studies that contain the selected object.

3. In the Study Manager panel select the study you want to edit, click More , and then click Study Planning.
   Easy Plan opens the Study Planning page and loads the selected study. Tip In Study Planning, you can expand structures in a study to review the bill of materials (BOM), Resources, Work Area, or Features assignments in their respective tabs.

4. (Optional) To change the project definition for the study click Projects, then perform the following steps.
   
   Select a project in the Available list.
   Tip You can apply multiple project definitions to a study.
   
   
   
   Click Add
   
   
   Click Save. Easy Plan applies the updated project definitions to the study and returns to the Study Planning page.

5. (Optional) To view and rearrange study property information, click Table Settings .

6. To add new objects to a study, expand or search for relevant nodes in the Process or Plant structures, then select a node and click Add to Study. You can also drag objects from the Process or Plant structures into the study.
   Easy Plan adds the selected node to the study.

7. To remove objects from a study, select a specific bill of process (BOP) or bill of equipment (BOE) object that is directly assigned to the study, then click Remove from Study. Easy Plan removes the object from the study.

8. When you finish editing the study, click Done. Easy Plan saves the changes you made to the study, and returns to the Process Planning page.
