Using easy propagation

Before running the Accountability Check, the favorite settings must be defined in the Accountability preference (MEAccountabilityCheckQuickFavorite.PBOP.PlantBOP) and the plant BOPs are linked to the corresponding product BOPs.

Procedure

1. Choose Tools→Accountability Check→Advanced Accountability Check and define and save the settings as favorite.

2. Open the search tab of the Options dialog and find the newly defined favorite entry in MEAccountabilityCheckSettings.PBOP.PlantBOP.

3. Copy the value to the preference MEAccountabilityCheckQuickFavorite.PBOP.PlantBOP.

4. Make sure the plant BOPs are linked to the corresponding product BOPs.

Run Accountability Check.

Procedure

1. Open a process from the product BOP in the Custom Process view.

2. Ensure the Content section is active.

3. Ensure the Compare Selected and Compare All buttons are visible.

4. If the commands are missing, check the preference MECustomViewChildLinesCommandNames.PBOP.

5. Click the desired command (Compare Selected or Compare All).

A dialog will open allowing you to select the target plant BOP.

6. Select a plant BOP and click OK to run the Accountability Check.

If a process from the plant BOP is currently opened in the Custom Process View, clicking Compare Selected or Compare All will open a dialog to allow selecting a product BOP as source.

Results

Propagation can be performed from the Accountability Check Result view by selecting the partial match lines in the target section and choosing Tools→Accountability Check→Propagate. The Propagate command is also available in the context menu.
