Load data from Easy Plan directly into Process Simulate

You can load and analyze Easy Plan process data into Process Simulate without creating a study object.

This feature lets you perform validation earlier, detect problems sooner, and experiment with manufacturing scenarios.

Prerequisites

You must set the EP_EnableOpenInPSCommand value to true. In addition, you must add EP_EnableOpenInPSCommand to the AWC_StartupPreferences in the Teamcenter rich client.

Procedure

1. If you have not done so already, search for and open a work package, and then navigate to the Process Planning page.

2. In the Process panel select a process then click More and then Open in Process Simulate.
   Easy Plan generates a data file and then launches Process Simulate.

3. In Process Simulate, view and author the data, and then update the data to Teamcenter.
