Author a production program in advanced mode

You can define the hierarchy of your production program structures and create multiple production program definitions in Easy Plan.

This topic provides instructions for users who author production programs in advanced mode. If you do not know which production program authoring mode is configured in your environment, contact your Teamcenter administrator.

Prerequisites

You must set the EP_CreateProductionProgramMode value to Advanced. In addition, you must add EP_CreateProductionProgramMode to the AWC_StartupPreferences in the Teamcenter rich client.

Procedure

1. If you have not done so already, search for and open an existing work package and navigate to the Manage Work Package page.

2. Click the Production Program Authoring tasks tile.

                    Authoring page.
   

3. Select the work package and click Add Production Program.

4. In the Add Production Program dialog box type a Name and click Add.

5. Select the production program you just added and click Add Definition.

6. In the Add Definition dialog box type a Name and click Add.
   Tip You can add multiple definitions inside of a production program.

7. (Optional) On the Production Program Authoring page select a production program or a definition and then click Remove.
