Create a test case
You can create a new test from the Test Manager view.
Procedure
Choose File→New→Test Case.
In the Name box, type a name for the test case.
From the Test Type list, select the test type.
Your administrator can extend this list in the Tm0TestType LOV in the Business Modeler IDE.
From the Execution Application list, select the application in which the test case runs.Your administrator can extend this list in the Tm0ExecutionApplication LOV in the Business Modeler IDE.
From the Usage Address list, select or type the usage address.
From the Position Designation list, select or type the position designation.
Click to add the test steps.
In the Add Step dialog box, type the step instructions.
Select a word or words and click Set Placeholder to create a placeholder for future part assignment.
Click OK and continue to add steps until the test is defined.
Click OK to save the test.

Note
The test case template is stored in the folder specified by the tm0tsm_TestCases.ROOTFOLDER preference. By default, this is the DPA folder. Teamcenter creates this folder when you save the first test case.
You can organize test cases under requirements in the Test Manager view. To do so, you must ensure that the test case business object type (Tm0TestCase) is added to the TCAllowedChildTypes_Requirement preference.
