Configure the JSON prompt in BOP builder

When working with BOP Builder, you can configure the JSON prompt file before running an actual build.

A JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) file is a text-based schema format file used for storing and exchanging data. Its syntax is derived from JavaScript. Easy Plan uses parameters for different schemas, including process documents.

Caution

It is your responsibility to ensure that documents processed using BOP Builder do not contain personal data.

Procedure

1. Open BOP Builder in your browser.

2. Click the Easy Plan tile. A BOP Builder page is displayed with an initial template selected in the Prompt list.Note Your initial template may differ, depending on your company requirements.

3. To configure a new JSON prompt from the template, click Settings . On the Easy Plan Settings page, the Document Description panel describes the document's relationship to Easy Plan structure and components. The Schema tab in the JSON Format panel provides a template to define a hierarchical structure, including the root object and any subsequent child objects, as well as attributes for those objects.Note To add a prompt from an existing template or to delete a selected prompt, click Manage Prompts and choose Add New Prompt or Delete Selected Prompt .

4. In the Document Description panel, write a description. This is mandatory.

5. To modify the schema, click Edit and for each required level in the schema tree, do the following.
   
   (Optional) Select a different primitive data type from the list.
   
   
   
   
   Type appropriate object IDs, names, descriptions, and instruction for each node.
   Note When you edit a Work Instructions node, some html code is displayed.Edit only the text between <p></p>. The XML format is necessary for the node to appear as work instructions in Easy Plan.
   
   
   To customize your structure, select a section to which you want to add a node or row and select Add → Add a Node or Add a Row.
   
   To delete a section, select it and click Delete .

6. Click the JSON tab. In this example, the JSON Format panel describes each property used for storing and exchanging process planning data. The JSON script reflects exactly the structure defined in the Schema tab.Tip While you can optionally edit change descriptions and attribute names in the JSON Format tab, editing the structure in the Schema tab ensures that you do not accidentally damage the script's syntax.

7. In either panel, click Save , and then click Close.

8. (Optional) To send your extracted results to Easy Plan, in the Extracted Results panel, click Send to Easy Plan.

9. Process and edit a PDF translation.
