Managing the enterprise BOP
Re-establish origin links
During the course of your work, there can be situations where the origin link between processes or operations in the product and plant BOPs or between the generic and product BOPs is broken or needs to be re-established.
If, after allocation, you accidentally remove the process or operation from the product BOP.
If you initially created a structure-specific process or operation and now want to connect it to a process or operation in the generic BOP. This can happen as your deployment matures, for example, you start with a product BOP and then in time realize that a generic BOP is a necessity.
Procedure
- Right-click a process or operation in the generic BOP or product BOP and choose Link/Associate→Establish Origin Link.
The Establish Origin Link dialog box opens with the selected process or operation listed as the source structure.
- Select the process or operation in the target structure (product BOP or plant BOP) that you want to link and click beside the Target box.
You can select multiple targets.
- Click OK.
Teamcenter creates the origin link between the source and target processes or operations. You can now use the Find In commands and the accountability check also shows these two structures as a match.
