Propagate changes from the source structure to the target structure

Before you propagate, you must run an accountability check as explained in Compare features in two structures using the accountability check. If there is a mismatch, the results are shown in yellow for a partial match and red for missing in target in the Accountability Check view.

Procedure

1. Select a yellow partial match line.

Teamcenter opens the Partial Match Details tab.

2. Right-click the partial match line and select Propagate or choose Tools→Accountability Check→Propagate.

Teamcenter propagates any differences in part connections. If there are errors, Teamcenter displays a message informing where a log file is stored.

3. Open the log file and rectify any errors. This can include copying parts that are missing in the target from the source to the target and rerunning the accountability check.
