Defining which occurrence types display in paste and assign resource commands

In the MEDisplayOccurrenceType preference, you can define conditions to display which occurrence types appear when pasting objects in the Manufacturing Process Planner rich client. This preference is used, for example, when end users access the Paste As, Paste Special, and Assign Resource commands and in the Occurrence Type column visible in bill of materials (BOM) views.

Note

Regardless of how you configure the preference, when pasting objects with multiple occurrence types, the system will only show occurrence types common to both the source and target. If no common occurrence types are found, the end user receives a message informing him of that fact.
