Author a process plan for a small product

You can perform detailed process planning in Easy Plan with a work package that does not contain a product.

This feature allows you to bypass the

High Level Planning

page and directly access the

Process Planning

page. You can define generic work processes or create a process plan for a small product.

Prerequisites

You must set the EP_PlanningForSmallProduct value to true. In addition, you must add EP_PlanningForSmallProduct to the AWC_StartupPreferences in the Teamcenter rich client.

Procedure

1. If you have not done so already, search for and open a work package, and then navigate to the Process Planning page.

2. Author your process plan on the Process Planning page, and review it on the Line Balancing page as needed.
