Define process resources scope data

You can define scoped data in the Process Planning and Line Balancing pages. Doing this allows you to focus on relevant process resources and minimize data overload, and provides quick navigation.

The process resources scope data list is persistent for both the plant BOP and the user who created the list, enabling you to reuse it over time and streamline navigation.

Procedure

1. Search for and open a work package and navigate to the High Level Planning page.

2. On High Level Planning, click Manage Process Resources Scope. The Manage Process Resources Scope page opens.

3. In the Scoped Data lists pane, click Create Scoped Data and enter a suitable name for the scoped data list.
   Note The name of a process resource scope data cannot contain a comma (,).

4. From the Plant BOP pane, drag the required resources to the Process Resources pane.

5. Use the process resources scope data to include process resources from various process areas, such as stations, lines, and zones.
   Alternatively, use the advanced search option to find the relevant process resources. After they are highlighted in the Plant BOP pane, drag them to the Process Resources pane.

6. To load a process resource scope data to the Process Planning page or the Line Balancing page, you can do one of the following:
   Open the Manage Process Resources Scope page, select one scope data, click the ellipsis ... and then select the task. If process resource scope data exists for the plant BOP and the user, search and open the work package, and then perform the process planning and the line balancing task. Access the Manage Work Package page and perform the process planning and line balancing tasks.
