Monitor KPIs in the Line Balancing dashboard

You can monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) in the Line Balancing dashboard, and then use that information to increase efficiency on the line.

After you navigate to the Line Balancing page, you can use the information in this topic to help you balance the line.

Note

Your dashboard may not contain all of the items listed in this topic because your Teamcenter administrator configures the dashboard for your environment.

Dashboard item	Additional information
Product Variant	Lists only the saved variant rules (SVRs) for the line. Note Your Product Variant list may not contain the Weighted or Maximum variants. Those product variants must be enabled by your Teamcenter administrator.
Line Takt Time	Displays the takt time for the line.
Cycle Time	Displays the average time it takes to finish one unit of production. Note If the line takt time is not available (NA), the Cycle Time chip icon is orange. In previous releases when the line takt time was NA, this icon was gray.
Total Wait Time	Displays the amount of time an item waits for processing or inspection, or to move to the next operation on the line.
Unassigned Time	Displays the amount of time a process resource is unassigned.
Resources	Displays the number of human resources working in the selected process station.
Human BTI	Displays the number of human resources and the balance time index (BTI) for human resources.
Cobots	Displays the number of cobot resources in the selected process station.
Cobots BTI	Displays the number of human resources and the balance time index (BTI) for human resources.
