Validating manufacturing process plans > Using Process Simulate
Load Process Simulate from Teamcenter
Do one of the following:
Choose Send To→Process Simulate.Teamcenter opens a new application each time you choose this command.
Choose Tools→Open with Process Simulate. This command enables several loads to be executed within the same application. If a Process Simulate session is already running, it displays a dialog box asking if you want to save unsaved data.
If you select Yes to save the data, Process Simulate opens the Update Teamcenter dialog window. Once the update completes successfully or the update dialog closes, data loading to Process Simulate continues. If the update fails, the data loading to Process Simulate still continues.
If you select No to discard changes, no Teamcenter update is performed and the loading process continues, discarding the previous data and its modifications.
If you select Cancel, nothing changes in the Process Simulate session, and the loading of new data to Process Simulate is aborted.
Note The Tools→Open with Process Simulate command replaces the Send To→Process Simulate command beginning with Process Simulate 9.1. If an earlier version of Process Simulate is installed, Teamcenter still displays the Send To→Process Simulate command.
