Add a child activity

Add a new activity to an existing parent or child activity in the Activities panel, on the Part Manufacturing tab.

Procedure

1. Select the Part Manufacturing tab.

2. Select an activity in the Object column on the Activities panel.

3. Click Add Activity on the results panel toolbar.

The Add Activity dialog box opens.

4. In the Add Activity dialog box, select the activity type from the TYPE list and enter the properties.

Name

Type the name of the new activity. It is recommended that you make the name unique so users can easily search the database using this term.

Description

(Optional) Type a description of the new activity.

5. Click Add.

A message box appears confirming the activity is created.
