Getting started with Resource Manager
Install Manufacturing Resource Manager or Part Manufacturing
When Teamcenter and Active Workspace are installed, you can also install Manufacturing Resource Manager or Part Manufacturing.
Prerequisites
Teamcenter and Active Workspace must be installed before you install Manufacturing Resource Manager or Part Manufacturing. For additional information, see Install Content Management using Deployment Center.
Note
When Teamcenter and Active Workspace are installed, many additional components for other applications are also installed.
Procedure
In Deployment Center, select the Applications tab and then select Add or Remove Selected Applications . Note Several Teamcenter and Active Workspace installation steps in Deployment Center are repeated when you install Manufacturing Resource Manager or Part Manufacturing.
In the Available Applications panel, select one or both of the following applications:
Part Manufacturing
Manufacturing Resource Manager
Tip You can use the web browser search function to help locate the application(s).Click Update Selected Applications.
Select the Components tab.
In the Selected Components list, you can see any remaining components for which the configuration is not 100%.In the Selected Components list, select each incomplete component, enter any required parameters, and save component settings until all components in the environment show a configuration status of 100%. When all components are fully configured, the Deploy tab is enabled.
Select the Deploy tab and click Generate Install Scripts to generate deployment scripts used to update affected machines. When script generation is complete, note any special instructions in the Deploy Instructions panel.
Locate deployment scripts and copy each script to its target machine, then run each script on its target machine.
