Sync and publish isolated studies from Study Manager

From within Study Manager, you can synchronize or publish an isolated study without using Manufacturing Process Planning (MPP) to refresh or publish the bill of process (BOP). This feature supports time-based and event-based modes.

Restrictions and limitations

You must be using Teamcenter Manufacturing Access version 6.3.3 or later to use this feature.

Prerequisites

The data in your study must meet the following requirements:

• You must have write access to all data within your study.

• If any objects within your study have a status of released, you cannot publish or sync the study.

Procedure

1. Open a study in Study Manager.

2. (Optional) To publish an isolated study, click Publish from Study and select one of the following options.
   Event based—partially synchronizes or publishes an isolated study to incorporate changes since its last synchronization or publication. Time based—fully synchronizes or publishes the entire study.
   All changes that were made in the BOP during the study are updated in the original BOP, and a message indicates that the study is published.

3. (Optional) Select Sync Study and select one of the following options.
   Event based—partially synchronizes or publishes an isolated study to incorporate changes since its last synchronization or publication. Time based—fully synchronizes or publishes the entire study.
   All changes from the master BOP are synchronized into operations in the isolated study, and a message indicates that the study is synchronized.
