Example of how to copy and assign custom occurrence types to processes and operations
This example shows how to add copy, paste, and assign custom occurrence types created in the Business Modeler Integrated Development Environment () to processes and operations in Manufacturing Process Planner.
In the BMIDE, create new custom occurrence types for your project.
Project Name Display Name Description DLDEV DL_MEPublication ME Publication Used for internal BOP product document. DLDEV DL_MEReference ME Reference Used for external BOP product and supplier documents.After deploying the template, add a new preference (for example, DL_DocumentOccTypes), containing the new custom occurrence type values DL_MEPublication and DL_MEReference.
Update the preference MEDisplayOccurrenceType with the new preference values.
MEProcess:Document:DL_DocumentOccTypes MEOP:Document:DL_DocumentOccTypesUpdate the preference MEAssignCustomizedOccurrenceType with new values.
MEProcess.Document:DL_MEPublication MEProcess.Document:DL_MEReference MEOP.Document:DL_MEPublication MEOP.Document:DL_MEReferenceUpdate the preference MERelationTypePartsOtherAssigned with the new custom occurrence type values.

In Manufacturing Process Planner, when you add a new document to a process or operation, then copy it, right-click another process or operation and then select Paste As→MEReference, the item is added with the appropriate custom occurrence type, MEPublication or MEReference.
