What's new in Teamcenter Easy Plan 2606—Deployment and Administration

Teamcenter Easy Plan 2606 provides new features and enhancements. There are also certain issues and workarounds.

Installation

Caution

If you use work instructions authoring, you must install the Teamcenter database with UTF-8 encoding. If you install any other encoding, garbage characters are displayed in the Work Instructions panel within Easy Plan and Electronic Work Instructions.

General enhancements

You can now clone a mature, isolated study and publish it to the master bill of process (BOP).

Note

If you upgrade from an earlier version of Teamcenter Easy Plan, you must update values for the studyTemplate preference to clone isolated studies.

If you perform a fresh installation of Teamcenter Easy Plan, you do not need to perform this task.

BOP Builder improvements

BOP Builder has an updated user interface for creating or editing the JSON prompt. The interface makes errors not only easier to avoid, but also easier to locate and correct.
