Managing the enterprise BOP
Searching an enterprise BOP structure
You can use the advanced manufacturing search to locate objects in an enterprise BOP structure in a similar way as with any other process structure.
If you select a view in the Search pane that represents a generic BOP, product BOP, or plant BOP, you can search for operation or process objects. You can search by any combination of item ID, Classification data, occurrence notes, spatial filter values, and form attributes.
In addition, you can also search by logical designator. If you do not have this license or have not selected an enterprise BOP structure, the Logical Designator box is unavailable.
If you click the … button to the right of the Logical Designator box, Teamcenter displays the Logical Designator dialog box. You can use this dialog box to define logical designator searches by any combination of manufacturing domain, subsystem, and unique identifier. You can include the following special character in search strings:
This wildcard character indicates any string. For example, *abc retrieves all strings that end with abc.
? This special character indicates a single character. For example, a?c retrieves all three character strings that begin with a and end with c.
