Managing and tracking changes > Using the change tracker
Incorporate changes into a target structure
To find out whether the selected change has been incorporated into a consuming structure (a target scope), use the Impacted section of the Change Tracker view. For each change in the view, the Impacted section lists:
Lines in the target scope impacted by the change.
Potential lines in the target scope to which a change might be applied.
Note
Incremental change must be active in the target structure before you can propagate changes.
Procedure
- Select the scope in the impacted structure and click .
The impacted structure is the target structure to which you want to propagate the changes found by the change tracker.
- Select a change in the top part of the Change Tracker view.
Teamcenter displays details about the change in the Details section of the view. For example, if you select a move change, the Details pane displays the parent line before the move and after it.
The Impacted section displays whether the changed line exists in the target structure.
The Impacted pane varies according to whether a change is due to an added line, a removed line, or a change in properties.
- Do one of the following:
Add the line to the target structure.
Remove the line from the target structure.
Propagate property changes to the target structure.
You cannot propagate revision effectivity changes.
